Export process and precautions for automobiles
1、 After receiving overseas orders and signing foreign trade contracts, domestic car receiving enterprises can collect and order cars domestically through individuals, second-hand car dealers, 4S stores, etc. in accordance with relevant requirements such as the age of imported cars, environmental standards, and safety technical conditions for motor vehicle operation, and complete the registration procedures for second-hand car transactions in accordance with the law.
2、 After the transfer of ownership, the appearance, interior, safety performance components, etc. of the vehicle should be repaired to ensure that the vehicle is in good condition.
3、 The inspection and appraisal of second-hand cars intended for export shall be carried out in a "one vehicle, one inspection" manner, and a testing institution with CMA or CNAS testing qualifications for motor vehicle safety inspection or import and export commodity inspection and appraisal qualifications shall be commissioned to issue a testing and evaluation report in accordance with the "Export Inspection Specification for Used Passenger Vehicles" and "Export Inspection Specification for Used Commercial Vehicles and Trailers".
4、 Applying for an export license relies on materials such as trade contracts, inspection and evaluation reports, and the motor vehicle registration certificate of the intended export vehicle to apply for an export license from the competent department, while simultaneously preparing for vehicle booking and port collection.
5、 Fill out the export declaration form in accordance with the relevant regulations of the General Administration of Customs, and clearly state the status of the export vehicle as "old" and the vehicle identification number (VIN).
6、 Vehicle cancellation: In the process of vehicle cancellation, within 2 months after completing the customs clearance procedures for the export of used cars, an application for cancellation of registration shall be submitted to the public security traffic management department of the place where the motor vehicle is registered, with the export declaration form and the proof certificates required by laws and regulations; Before applying for deregistration, all road traffic safety violations and traffic accidents involving export vehicles should be handled.
